2 Timothy 1:13-14; 3:10-16

The Issue (Tension): We often feel adrift, like a boat without an anchor, pushed by cultural confusion, a relentless focus on results over righteousness, and fear (of failure, rejection, conflict, missing out). This leads to small compromises that pull us off course, leaving us unanchored, with shallow beliefs, and unable to live lives that truly honor God.

The Solution (To Know): God hasn't left us adrift. He has provided an unshakeable anchor: His Word, the Bible. As Paul taught Timothy (2 Timothy 1:13-14, 3:10-17), Scripture is the "pattern of sound words". It's "breathed out by God" and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. This divine truth is our firm foundation.

The Action (To Do): Knowing about the anchor isn't enough; we must use it. This means consciously making decisions based on God's Word, not on convenience, consequences, or cultural pressure. It involves asking "What does Scripture say?" and "Does this honor Christ?" even when it's hard or means swimming upstream.

The Outcome (Conclusion): By choosing to live anchored in God's Word, empowered by the Spirit, and supported by the church community, we become "Built Different." This allows us to stand firm and truly live out the call to "Man Up" in a way that brings glory to God,
