Hi Youths,
It was so great having breakfast together with you on Saturday! Special thanks to the youths that helped to serve this past week, you all did a great job!
We had breakfast together because we were learning about the first Christian community in Acts 2:38, 42-47. We learned that they were a tight-knit community because they believed in Jesus and the love of God empowered them to care for one another. They shared meals together a lot and did their best to include all the new believers.
The first Christian community loved each other and were willing to welcome new friends into their community. This coming week in Youth Worship, we have arranged new table groups so that everyone will meet some new people. As we will have breakfast together again this Saturday, let's do our best to make one new friend at your table on Saturday!
