Hey Youths!
In the Old Testament, God's Holy presence was inside a box called the Ark of the Covenant, separated from his sinful people, kept inside the temple and in the Holy of Holies behind a curtain. The curtain symbolized the separation of God and man. Just like water and electricity can't mix together, God's holiness and human sinfulness can't be together.
Do you wonder where God is in your life? The good news is that God is with us, He is always with you! God's presence no longer needs to be kept inside a box, however, we still unconsciously put God into a box (eg. we will only take God out of the box when we go to church or when we need Him to help us with something).
