Hi Youths!
On the day that Jesus died, Jesus paid the price for our sins and the following incident was recorded in the Bible in Matthew 27:50-51. God miraculously tore the curtain that separated the Ark of the Covenant from the rest of the temple, from top to bottom, into two pieces. The tearing of the curtain event tells us that God made a way for us through Jesus to have a close relationship with Him and to no longer be separated from Him.
Through Jesus, we can have God's presence anytime and anywhere with us! So, you can:
- Trust Jesus to take a boxcutter to your box
- Let go of the box you are keeping God in
- Start letting God be present in your life even outside of church time
