The church is at war today.
Satan is defeated by the child and he is thrown out of heaven. In his anger he goes after the church.
There are 3 main strategies that he uses to go after Christ followers:
- Disinformation (Rev 12:9,10)
- Accusation - to make you doubt who you are to God
- Deception - to make you doubt who God is to you
- Encirclement (Rev 13:1-10)
- Persecution and pressure to make you choose a stance
- Infiltration (Rev 13:11-18)
- False teaching and false religion to lure you away
- Temptation from culture to make you compromise your faith
The church has 3 counter offensive strategies to remain victorious (Rev 12:11):
- Blood of the Lamb
- Word of their testimony
- Loved not their lives even unto death
