Hi Youths,
This week we started our Jonah series and learned that we need to know God for who we think He is.
In the story of Jonah, we learned that even though he was a prophet, he didn't really know God well or how God works. We know this because when God told Jonah to go to Nineveh to tell the Ninevites to repent because they were sinning against God, Jonah refused and ran away. Jonah did this because he didn't understand God's character of goodness, love, and mercy.
Remember, God wants you to know Him more than you could ever want to know Him and He's given us what we need to truly know Him.
So let's all put in the effort to discover more of who God is by paying attention during Youth Worship, and in our own time, praying and reading the Bible to know God better.
