Jonah (Week 4)

Hi Youths,

On Saturday we learned that God is a God of mercy.

When we read the Old Testament in the Bible, we sometimes think that God is an angry and vengeful God. However, in the story of Jonah, we see that God is actually very merciful as he shows mercy to both Jonah and the Ninevites many times. So even though anger is part of God's character (because he is a holy and just God), we know that He shows mercy much more of the time because He is patient and slow to anger.
