Word (Week 2)

Hi Youths, 

Living our lives in the dark may seem easier because you see a lot of other people living like this but Jesus tells us to live right is to live in the light. Jesus encourages us to live in the light because it means we won't have to trouble ourselves of having to hide anything or have any regrets. And that's the best way to live! Although we can hide secrets from people, there is nothing we can hide from God. He sees and knows everything. Thankfully, 1 John 1:9 tells us that If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This week, ask yourself the following 2 questions and write your answers in your youth worship notebook:

• What is one secret that is keeping you from fully living in the light?
• Who is someone (parents, teachers, friends, youth leaders, siblings...etc) you trust that cares a lot about you that you can share with them this one thing you've been hiding?

Remember, the best way to live is to live in the light. Let us all continue living in the light together!
