Satanis the father of lies (John 8:44) and he came to steal, kill and destroy our relationship with God. (John 10:10)
Jesus overcame the devil in the desert (Luke 4:1-11) by putting his faith in God’s word. When Satan’s target is our minds and his weapons is lies, we can overcome temptations by filling our minds with God’s word and putting our trust in Him alone.
This week, memorize John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
