This Sunday, we begin a new series, “That’s What He Said”. We will be spending 5 weeks to study the teachings of Jesus and be challenging the cultural norms of the world.
This week, we begin by exploring the true meaning of discipleship. Through Luke 14: 25-33, we learn that there is a great cost to be a disciple of Jesus. And true disciples have counted the cost and still choose to obey His teachings because they know the costly grace paid by Jesus.
We are also memorizing Matthew 16:24 to recite it in the morning and at night -- “Then Jesus told his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”

- What is one teaching you have learned from the sermon this week that you will start adding to your family routine?
