Joshua is both the founder and the lead pastor of KEC. He cofounded the church with Wilbur in 2006. Joshua is passionate about sharing the gospel to unchurched people, and his greatest joy is witnessing people crossing the line of faith and become Christ’s followers.
Joshua was born and raised in Hong Kong. He graduated from Simon Fraser University, majoring in Marketing and Business Administration. He received his theological training at Regent College, and graduated with a Master degree in Divinity. Before founding KEC, Joshua has been a student minister, working among college students in the Greater Vancouver area for many years.
Joshua is married to Linda, who is a piano teacher. They have two teenage daughters. Joshua enjoys cooking, and his signature dish is the thanksgiving turkey.
