Gabriel grew up in Hong Kong and moved with his family to Toronto in the early 1980’s. He studied Genetics at the University of Western Ontario, at which he was an active participant of the Chinese Christian Fellowship on campus. After completing a Master of Divinity at Ontario Theological Seminary, Gabriel began his full-time ministry among the next generation at Ambassadors For Christ in Canada in 1993.
In 2014, Gabriel and his family relocated to Vancouver and joined the KEC staff team. Gabriel is married to Shirley, a social worker in children and youth mental health. They are proud parents of three children: Caleb, Andrea and Chloe. In his free time, Gabriel enjoys building and playing with model railways and explore new hiking trails with his family in Vancouver.
