Elaine works as the music ministry director at KEC. She leads worship and arranges music for the weekly services, and develops the worship team by recruiting and training musicians. As an instructor and administrator at Koinonia Music Academy, she also teaches regularly, develops curriculums, and performs administrative duties at the school.
Elaine has earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia and an Associate Diploma in piano pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She has experienced how worship and music can play an important role in helping people encounter the gospel, and is committed to serving the church through music. She also enjoys teaching children and youth, and is delighted to witness their growth through learning music. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sushi, and traveling with her husband.
