Pastor Carson Li

As the Associate Pastor of Worship Ministry, Carson oversees all things music and audio related at Koinonia. In the music ministry, he, working alongside two other music directors, leads the music team, coordinate Sunday worship, arranges music for Sunday services, and provides training for the team members. In the audio field, he provides support to the tech directors in areas such as planning, future development, member training and administration. Lastly, he is the head of school of Koinonia Music Academy, an institution that provides training to the next generation of worshippers. As a “slightly-tech-y-musician”, Carson enjoys just about everything he does at this position. He especially enjoys arranging and playing music for God with his team members.

Carson graduated from University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Music. Having established his foundation of music from UBC, he is now pursuing a Master Degree in Music and Worship at Liberty University (Virginia, USA).

Outside of office hours, Carson usually spends his time doing anything that is music related: writing music, playing the piano, goofing around on other instruments, and learning new music techniques and ideas.
