The reason Paul wrote Galatian was because of the tension between Jewish and non-Jewish Christians. Jewish Christians generally believed that Israelites were chosen as God’s People because of their obedience to Torah. Therefore, a group of Jewish Christian went to Galatians church and asked non-Jewish Christians to receive circumcision and obey the Law.
Paul was sad and angry at the news and decided to write this letter to the Galatians church.
