For hundreds and thousands of years, humans have tried to understand and make sense of everything that surrounds us.

Through the process, we’ve learned the universe is governed by various laws of physics, rules in chemistry, and mathematical constants. Without these, the world, even the universe would not exist.

More significantly, scientists have also asked, how much margin of error can there be with these constants or forces?

Discoveries have led scientists from various fields to conclude on something called, the fine-tuning of the universe.

As we look deeper into, (1) the delicate balance between gravitational forces and electromagnetic forces that governs the universe, and (2) the mysterious Cosmological Constant that baffles physicists and cosmologists regarding the accelerated expansion of the universe, It takes more faith to make a claim that life on Earth and the creation of the universe happened by chance rather than a supreme-intelligent Creator who designed it with purpose.

Can we expand our scope of understanding or comprehension?

Psalm 8:1,3-4

O Lord , our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory above the heavens.

When I look at your heavens,

the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars,

which you have set in place,

what is man that you are mindful of him,

and the son of man that you care for him?

Can you comprehend a God who loves us so much that He spent millions of years preparing a place for us to live and enjoy?

Can you comprehend a God who loves us so much that He made the universe just so we can lift up our eyes at night and see the wonders of the stars?

The God who created the universe loves and cares for me.
