Hi Youths,
On Saturday, we learned that real friends mean what they say.
We played a drawing game to help us understand the importance of our words and how they affect others. As we all took turns being the drawer, we know that good instructions from our partners allowed us to be able to draw the picture well! Imagine if our partner actually gave instructions that they didn't mean, we wouldn't have been able to draw the picture right!
So, let's aim to be real friends who mean what we say!
Also, here are the answers to the worksheet you've completed during message time:
- Fake friends don't always mean what they say.
- Jesus tells us to simply say: "yes" when we mean "yes," and "no" when we mean "no."
- Humble people take the lead in the Kingdom of God.
- Humble people mean what they say and do what they say they'll do.
- God doesn't say a word that He doesn't mean. Not even one syllable of what God has said is empty or pointless.
