Do you ever feel happy, anxious or angry? Chances are yes. Feelings are behind most of the things we do. Have you ever wondered about how to find peace and joy in your life?
If feelings are so foundational to our lives, it matters that we navigate them well. What should we do when we’re angry? How do we handle anxiety? What role should joy play in our day-to-day routine? Emotions affect everything we do, so the way we handle them is important. Do you run away from your feelings or do you let your feelings guide you and determine who you really are? The good news is, we can navigate our emotions through the lens of the gospel:
Week 1: We can find peace in peaceless situations. Philippians 4:4-7
Week 2: Anxiety won't choke out our faith. Matthew 13:33
Week 3: Our anger will lead toward hope for redemption. Jonah 4:1-3
Week 4: Becoming more like Jesus will bring us joy. James 1:2-3
