Veronica Wong

Veronica serves as the Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator at Koinonia Evangelical Church.

In this role, she designs engaging activities and develops curriculum for toddlers and pre-elementary children, while also coordinating programs for the Cantonese Youth Oikos. Veronica is passionate about building meaningful relationships and walking alongside children and youth in their faith journeys. She is dedicated to nurturing their spiritual growth while also discerning and developing the gifts God has entrusted to her for this ministry.

Veronica was born and raised in Hong Kong, where she studied Economics and Human Resource Management at Hong Kong Baptist University. In August 2022, she moved to Vancouver and continued her studies at the University of British Columbia, earning a Bachelor's degree in Geography—motivated by her passion for caring for God’s creation. Before relocating to Canada, Veronica served faithfully for over five years in the Children and Youth Ministry at her home church in Hong Kong. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to witness and participate in God’s guidance and transformative work in the lives of the next generation.

Outside of ministry, Veronica enjoys spending time in nature, listening to music, and watching movies.
