Samantha Hon

Samantha is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Koinonia Evangelical Church.  She has been working with elementary school-aged children, especially kids on spectrum for many years. In 2021, she was called by God to serve in ministry and walk with the next generation in the journey of discipleship.

Her main responsibility as a coordinator is planning Saturday school curriculum, teaching in Karpos worship services, brainstorming interesting activities, as well as coordinating with leaders and servants to provide a positive and fun environment for all children to learn about God's words and wisdom.  

Samantha graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Arts majoring in Psychology. Outside of church, she likes doing outdoor activities to explore nature, singing karaoke and playing board games with friends and family. She always wants to travel alone and volunteer in Peru after the pandemic.
