Biography: 

• 2006: One of KEC's six founding members.

• 2015: Joined the staff team full-time.

• January 2019: Called to the pastoral team as Assistant Pastor.

• Current Role: Associate Pastor and one of four Executive Team members providing strategic leadership for the church.

• Primary Ministries: Karpos Children's Worship, Youth Worship, Cantonese Youth Ministry, and Administration.

Introduction & Recommendation: 

Ava has a proven track record of building sustainable ministries. She laid a strong foundation for our next generation by developing Karpos, Youth Worship, and the Cantonese Youth Oiko . 

Beyond youth ministries, she has been instrumental in establishing solid administrative and financial systems for the church. Coming out of the pandemic, when the church was searching for space, Ava played a key role in facilitating our partnership with Fraserview MB Church. This provided KEC with a stable, long-term worship venue and greatly supported our steady growth.

At church, Ava is a pastor highly respected by our youth and parents alike. At home, she is a devoted wife and mother to three adult children, who now serve as leaders in KEC's English ministry. This speaks volumes about her character, life, and ability to disciple others. 

As a founding member, Ava has demonstrated unwavering faithfulness and submission to God, the church, and the pastoral team for the past twenty years. Having completed all ordination requirements—including a 400-page reading curriculum and a comprehensive preparation document—the Lead Pastoral Team and the Church Council wholeheartedly recommend Pastor Ava Lee for ordination at Koinonia Evangelical Church.
