Have you thought about the reason why so many people want to go viral? It is because everyone desires validation from other people. However, as we read in John 3:26-30, John the Baptist went viral not because he wanted validation from people. He went viral because he told others about the Messiah, Jesus. Ultimately, he wanted to influence people to follow and believe in Jesus.
We are reminded that we don't have to chase after fleeting validation from people because our validation is directly from God. As followers of Jesus, we are free to create content on social media and point others to Jesus.
This week, when you are creating your social media posts, think about how you can let others see Jesus in your life. Come back on Sunday to learn more about how you can start influencing them to Jesus.
