1 John 1:5-7, 1 John 3:4-10, John 8:12, 1 Corinthians 11:27-28

I am a Christian but I cannot stop sinning.

I call myself a Christian, but I still sin.
It should be okay because I am only human.
God has given me the freedom to choose what I want to do so I can do what I want.

Why do I willfully sin?

I want it, and I want it now.
Everyone is doing it, so I will do it too.
I don't think I will get caught, so I do it.

You are either in the light or in the darkness.

There is no in-between.
Just as how when you flip a coin, it lands with heads or tails facing up.
There is no in-between.
You are either a child of God or a child of the devil.
As a child of God, our actions reflect our father in heaven.

What can I do?

Confess the sins, allow it to come to the light.
Bring it from the dark part into the light.
Instead of hiding it, allow it to be known.
Confessing is not enough, renounce as well.
Renounce the devil and all the forces that defy God.
Renounce the powers of this world that rebel against God.
Renounce the ways of sins that draws you away from God.
