Happy Easter Sunday! Every Easter, we remember Jesus and what He did for us. Although we are in a different setting this year, we can still worship God and praise Jesus at home! We are so excited to share the amazing story of our Savior and remember His love. We are sending ecards to the family email account every Wednesday. Please check out and read the ecard with your children, send us a reply! We will continue to keep your family in our prayers this week. Send us a message if you have a prayer request or your family needs some help. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the church staff team at karpos@koinoniachurch.ca. God is all-powerful and good all the time. We proclaim that He is in control even in times of uncertainty. May God’s love, strength and peace be with your family.

We long to worship with you and your children, therefore, we have prepared the following resources for your family.

In the second week, we learn that <Every Easter, We Celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection>. This Sunday, we’re going to look at more clues about why Easter is such an important time of the year. Easter Sunday is a very special day because we are celebrating the most important part of God’s story - when Jesus died and rose from the grave! In today’s Bible story, we are going to hear about the followers of Jesus. They got really bad news when Jesus died. But three days later, they got some pretty amazing and surprising news!

Let’s begin our worship:
1. Watch: Elementary Worship Video
2. Check: The Last Supper Word in Word Activity (Pastor Canaan’s Answers)
3. Check: Follow the Clues Answer Key
4. Do this activity: Resurrection Easter Egg Hunt at Home
5. Pray: Say this prayer to God
“Lord, thank you that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Thank you for everything, we remember Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection today. We celebrate and praise you for it. In Jesus name Amen”
